Disney’s Animal Kingdom Christmas Tree and Decorations. Floatila’s, Santa, Gaint Dinosaur lit up wearing a Santa hat and beard, Merry Menagerie, and so much more are coming this week to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. We spent the morning at the Park and brought back images of all the holiday decor and the giant Christmas Tree that graces the front entrance.
Cheerful decor and festive flotillas are some of the holiday highlights at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. In addition to meetings with favorite Disney characters and Santa himself, guests can interact with a Merry Menagerie of life-size, artisan-sculpted animal puppets daily on Discovery Island. The park’s iconic Tree of Life also awakens each evening with a colorful tableau of wintry tales accompanied by a musical score.
The front entrance is decked out with wreaths and swag. Plus, the photopass walkthrough image has been replaced with the Holiday backdrop.
Donald’s Dino-Bash area is fully decorated. Light-up dinosaurs, light strings, and trees are spread throughout the area. Special backdrops for character meet and greets are up also.
