There’s exciting news for “Frozen” enthusiasts! According to Disney CEO Bob Iger, a potential “Frozen 4” movie is in the early stages of development. During an interview with “Good Morning America” co-anchor Michael Strahan, Iger shared, “Well, I’ll give you a little surprise there, Michael. ‘Frozen 3’ is in the works, and there might be a ‘Frozen 4’ in the works too.”

Iger went on to reveal that Jenn Lee, the creator of the original “Frozen” and “Frozen II,” is actively collaborating with her team at Disney Animation on not just one but two captivating stories. Both previous installments in the “Frozen” series achieved remarkable success, each surpassing $1 billion at the global box office upon their respective releases in 2013 and 2019, according to The Numbers, a film industry data website.
In addition to the movie developments, Disney has also expanded the “Frozen” universe with a new podcast, announced in August, featuring fresh narratives centered around beloved characters like Anna, Elsa, and Olaf. Furthermore, on November 20, Hong Kong Disneyland is set to unveil a new “World of Frozen” themed land, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the enchanting realm of Arendelle.
Iger expressed enthusiasm about the immersive experiences offered at Disney parks, noting that the “World of Frozen” attraction brings the fictional land to life. He shared, “The best thing here is you visit and you actually can meet Olaf and Anna and Elsa and all the gang from ‘Frozen.’ Of course, there are attractions, but there are also great restaurants. I think the thing that is great about it is you actually feel like you’re in the place that the movie took place in, and it just gives you this powerful sense of story that I think people have grown to love over the last decade.”
