Hallmark Heartthrob Tyler Hynes From Hallmark Romance to ‘Boot Shots’. A devoted community of enthusiasts has formed around Hallmark. Within this community, some appreciate the Christmas content, others are fans of the romance genre, and some specifically enjoy the Golden Girls.
Furthermore, some individuals are devoted fans of particular actors and actresses. Notably, fan-favorite Tyler Hynes has actively engaged with his followers on social media, establishing a vibrant community of fans.
Tyler Hynes has starred in some of the biggest releases on the Hallmark Channel. ‘An Unexpected Christmas’ with Bethany Joy Lenz. Appearing on fans’ top lists of the best Hallmark Christmas movies. Closely followed by last year’s ‘Three Wise Men and A Baby‘ with fan favorites Andrew Walker and Paul Campbell. He also starred in this season’s ‘Never Been Chris’d.’

Now, I will tell you. I have been a fan of his since 2009. I watched a Syfy show called ‘Warehouse 13.’ Which was a show where Secret Service agents tracked down crazy artifacts to save the world from dangerous objects. Tyler guest-starred in 5 episodes.
Fast forward to 2018 and Mr. Hynes started appearing in Hallmark Christmas movies with his first being the Leann Rimes movie, ‘It’s Christmas, Eve.’ Since then he has appeared in at least 16 Hallmark Channel movies.
In his official Facebook group, Tyler has created an online community of dedicated fans. His fans have termed themselves as “Hynies.” I have joined this Facebook group and found that it is a largely very positive space. The mostly women are supportive of Tyler and each other. It is honestly, refreshing. The world of social media can be a scary place and it is fantastic to have a space where people support, share, and cultivate online and IRL friendships.

I started this tradition as a way to stay connected to the important people in my life and to tell them “Thank you, I love you and I’m thinking of you” during this most cherished of holidays. What this means to you and how you wish to use it, I can’t wait to see. In the last year that I’ve spent creating this, I’ve had one, singular intention; To create something beautiful that makes you feel included, cherished, and deeply appreciated. Hopefully, I’ve succeeded in that.

I was lucky enough to be gifted one from a lovely woman named Janice whom I met in the Facebook group. Every year at Christmastime, Tyler will do a live Facebook stream where he invites his fans to join him and cheer the holiday and hopefully, I can join the live stream on December 23rd at 5pm EST. It is so lovely to see how this community celebrates not only Tyler but each other and the friendships that have been made.
He has become a fan favorite for good reason. He has become a mainstay on Hallmark and fans flock to see him at Christmas Con every year. I am hoping to make the trek to New Jersey next year for the Christmas Con 2024. Tickets are now on sale. See Thats4entertainment for all information.
All in all, I am glad not only to be a fan of the Hallmark Channel but of Tyler Hynes. Seeing the positive safe online space that has been cultivated is heartwarming. Furthermore, Greg and I hope that we are creating a safe space for people to come together and celebrate what they love and are passionate about.
