Honest Review – ‘Never Been Chris’d’ As Part Of Countdown To Christmas On Hallmark. Fans of Hallmark Channel’s Countdown To Christmas rejoice whenever there is a new Tyler Hynes movie. I know I do. While this was fun, it wasn’t what we usually expect from a Tyler Hynes movie.

If you know me, you know that I am a television person. I love Hallmark movies. They have become a part of my every Holiday season. I look forward every year to whatever projects some actors do for Hallmark. Tyler Hynes is one at the very top of my list. I was very happy to sit and watch this movie.

When two BFFs go home for the holidays and reunite with their high school crush, the complex love triangle that forms leads them to take stock of their lives and find the value of friendship. Janel Parrish, Tyler Hynes, and Pascal Lamothe-Kipnes star in ‘Never Been Chris’d.’

Besties since the womb, Naomi Long (Parrish) and Liz Waitt (Lamothe-Kipnes) have spent the last 36 years doing everything together – including running a successful app and enjoying their holidays in Hawaii. As Naomi and Liz each grow closer to Chris and take stock of themselves, they begin to question their friendship. Has their bond held them back? As two lifelong friends navigate Christmas, their families, their love triangle, and work issues, they find decades-long issues surfacing and tensions simmering as they’re reminded that friendship can break our hearts, too.

While, yes, this is a Tyler Hynes movie, he isn’t front and center in this movie. He is very firmly a co-star. The standout stars are Janel Parrish and Pascal Lamothe-Kipnes. This is their story. Their love and history are the main themes in this story. It is my hope that Hallmark fans, will push aside the fact that it is mainly about the friendship between the girls and their families and finally Chris and their other friends.
