Fun for Everyone at Flower & Garden 2024 – Spike’s Pollination Exploration, Egg-stravaganza Hunt, and More. We are right in the middle of the winter season, but we have new information about the upcoming Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival to give you hope that spring is right around the corner!
Mark your calendars as this year’s festival will begin on Feb. 28 and continue through May 27 for 90 days full of beautiful topiaries, inspirational gardens, delicious dishes, and rockin’ music celebrating spring. From the tiniest tykes to the young at heart, there’s something for everyone!
New topiaries, along with returning gardens, have been announced, along with the 2024 Garden Rocks Concert Series. We also have the news that Spike’s Pollination Exploration, Egg-stravaganza Hunt, and more fun for the whole family will be returning for 2024.
One of our favorite stops Blossoms of Fragrance Presented by Scentsy will also be returning to World Showcase Bridge. Besides being beautiful, the scents and topiaries make a wonderful combination for all your senses.

At this year’s festival, the whole family can enjoy two seasonal scavenger hunts. Throughout the festival, follow Spike the Bee on his pollination trail where he’s “buzzing” to collect nectar from all the beautiful gardens with Spike’s Pollination Exploration. For a limited time, you can also hop around the World Showcase for the Egg-stravaganza Hunt! Twelve beautiful, bunny-inspired eggs will be placed throughout the park; can you find them all?
Both scavenger hunt maps will be available for purchase while supplies last. Once your journey is complete – whether or not you find all the items – you can redeem your map at Disney Traders, Creations Shop, or World Traveler at International Gateway for a special surprise.
Also back this year, Butterfly Landing Presented by AdventHealth offers guests the chance to get up close and personal with some of nature’s most beautiful pollinators – butterflies! This walkthrough butterfly house highlights the life cycle of butterflies and contains valuable pollinator gardens.
At Blossoms of Fragrance Presented by Scentsy, follow your nose to create lasting memories with the help of unforgettable fragrances.
Looking for a place to get a little energy out? At Camp Get Out N’ Play Garden Presented by OFF!, families can explore a camp-themed garden where kiddos can jump, play, climb, and explore this area created just for them.
Explore a whimsical butterfly garden and set out on a lively scavenger hunt.

Scavenger Hunts
Stroll around EPCOT on a fun-filled scavenger hunt. Choose from 2 adventures:
- Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration: Follow Spike the Bee along his pollination trail, where Spike will “bee” busy collecting nectar and pollinating gardens.
- Egg-Stravaganza Hunt: Embark on a delightful hunt for eye-catching eggs—each resembling a beloved bunny rabbit. This experience is only available for a limited time.
Here’s how to get started:
- Purchase your scavenger hunt map and stickers at select merchandise locations for $9.99 plus tax (available while supplies last).
- Search high and low for Spike or for colorful eggs (depending on the hunt) around EPCOT, then add a sticker to your map after each discovery.
- At the end of your journey, take the map to Disney Traders, Creations Shop, or World Traveler and receive a surprise.
Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration and the Egg-Stravaganza Hunt are subject to availability. Maps and prizes are available while supplies last.
