Could we see Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opening sooner than we expected? Originally Disney Parks Blog and all press releases from Disney have started a ‘Late’ 2024 opening, but signs may be pointing to much sooner. Disney has removed the ‘Late’ from the opening statement. All press releases now contain Coming in 2024.
Also, today at Disney’s Magic Kingdom over at Frontier Trading Post pin shop, Disney released the first-ever Tiana’s Bayou Adventure pin, with attached postcard sketches of the attraction. A new popcorn bucket with Tiana’s as a main feature was released.
Furthermore, Disney had the first press walkthrough of the attraction last week, and now the newly themed attraction has been added to the Disney World and Disneyland Websites. I am not speculating that we will see the ride open in the next month or so, but it is pointing towards a summertime opening. Which would make sense for the Disney World attraction. Why would Disney open a water attraction in December?
Obviously, testing is going to take some time, but with the track being the exact same layout as Splash Mountain, testing will not take as long as say Ton Lightcycle Run.
