Park Review of the Day: Epcot 1/24/2024 DVC Merch, Construction on Rose Walk, Mission Space Marquee Missing. We had a beautiful day here in Central Florida, almost perfect. 80 Degrees, slight wind, a little cloudy, but no humidity. This made for a perfect day to check out what’s going on at Epcot.

Disney Vacation Club released a new collection that is out now, Mission Space in World Discovery is missing the marquee at the entrance, Rose Walk construction photos, and Frozen was closed all day.

Mission Space Marquee

Mission Space is still under refurbishment in World Discovery. The main entrance sign is now missing, and Earth is still missing. No word on how much longer this construction will be going on.

Back in September, NASA and Disney came together to premier a new display outside of Mission Space.

Guests visiting the Mission: SPACE attraction at EPCOT in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., may notice a new addition created through the combined magic of Walt Disney Imagineering and NASA’s Perseverance Mars Rover team.

A new display replicates the tread marks left by the Perseverance rover on the surface of Mars, using a borrowed prototype rover wheel. Disney artisans also added some surface collection tubes recreated through 3D printing. Perseverance continues its mission on Mars to collect samples that a future mission could one day return to Earth. (Preston Mack, Photographer)

Rose Walk Construction

The Rose Walk new festival plaza is between World Celebration and World Showcase. it will be a continuation of the new CommuniCore Plaza festival center. The area is located next to the Imagination Pavilion and the old Starbucks. Most recently the walls displayed the Disney100 Mural.

CommuniCore Hall and Plaza

Construction continues on the new festival plaza and Mickey & Friends meet and greet area at the World Celebration. One thing we did notice, as the walls are slowly being pushed back, is that there are circular patterns of concrete, with light rings that match the central planter area of the newly opened central World Celebration.

So Far we have seen 3 of these circles.

At Walt Disney World Resort, CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza will be completed in 2024 as part of the multiyear transformation of EPCOT.

These new spaces extend the EPCOT festivals beyond World Showcase and provide a new home for additional exhibits and entertainment, offering the perfect space to gather with family and friends.

Voyage to Arendelle aboard an ancient Nordic vessel as you take a musical tour of the wintery world of Frozen.

Looks like a 24-hour maintenance of Frozen Ever After took place today. Disney made sure to have signs at the front entrance and around the park to make sure guests were well-informed.

The attraction should be open tomorrow.
