Walls Have Come Down – Walls Go Back Up Creating Bottleneck in Epcot. Epcot is always in flux; lately, we have seen major fluctuation. Many walls came down when World Celebration opened to the public after years of construction. But, with work being finished on the new ComminCore Hall and Plaza festival space, more walls are popping up.

Only this time it has created a bottleneck and some extra walking for guests to get around the walls. On a good note, these will not last very long, so this is only a minor inconvenience.

The Rose Walkway is the path between Creation Shop, wraps around the outside of the lagoon, and follows the old Starbucks in between World Showcase and World Celebration and Nature. You can see it highlighted below in blue.

The majority, between World Nature and World Celebration, is walled off now. With a huge area now behind walls on the Creation Shop side where the Mickey Disney 100 Statue backdrop lived for the past few months.

One major pathway leads onto the World Showcase bridge from the central garden/Creation Shop area, which is making a bottleneck of guests because there is not much room between the walls and people are confused a little. You can go around the Odyssey Pavilion Side, or from World Nature, up the open section of the Rose Walkway.

CommuniCore Plaza, CommuniCore Hall at EPCOT

At Walt Disney World Resort, CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza will be completed in 2024 as part of the multiyear transformation of EPCOT.

These new spaces extend the EPCOT festivals beyond World Showcase and provide a new home for additional exhibits and entertainment, offering the perfect space to gather with family and friends.
