Friendship Boat Launch Construction Completed at Disney’s Boardwalk. Over the past year, we have seen a good amount of construction and work being done at Disney’s Boardwalk. Now, we are starting to see it come to fruition with the completion of the refurbishment of the boat launch.
Construction Crews have been working on replacing the wood planks and upgrading the support structure for the past few months. You can see the before and after below.

Walt Disney World® Water Transportation: Typically, the Friendship Boats that serve the Resort Hotels around Crescent Lake begin operating around 45 minutes before the Theme Parks open.

This is a great step forward in construction projects coming to an end at Disney’s Boardwalk. Recently we updated the progress of the Cake Bake Shoppe and the new location for Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs. Both are opening in 2024.
We have seen crews refurbish a good amount of the wood around Disney’s Boardwalk recently. We have also seen the closing of Big River Grill and the addition of Food Trucks.
