Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy Gets Release Date For Final Season. The Umbrella Academy is returning for another go around and now we know when that will be.
Announced today, we have learned that the gang is getting back together on August 8, 2024, on Netflix. Also released today were posters of each member of The Umbrella Academy.

The Hargreeves Superhero Siblings are all returning to finish out the story. We see in each of the released photos that each of them enter as their younger selves and walk out of frame as their older selves, each with an umbrella. We also see their Father Sir Reginald Hargreeves and Lila Pitts.
The series is based on the graphic novels written by Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance fame and artist Gabriel Ba. The story is that these children were all born on the exact same day and have superpowers. They are adopted by Sir Reginald Hargreeves and turned into superheroes until it all goes wrong. They are eventually pulled back together to prevent the apocalypse.
Luther (Tom Hopper) is half man, half ape but not exactly bright. Viktor (Elliot Page) plays violin virtuosically, but his explosive powers are harder to master. Party animal Klaus (Robert Sheehan) suffers trauma from seeing dead people, including his deceased brother Ben (Justin H. Min).
Famous actor Allison (Emmy Raver-Lampman) controls others’ minds but can’t manage her own ego. Then there are Diego (David Castañeda) and Number Five (Aidan Gallagher), master assassins whose impulsiveness often gets everyone into tricky situations.
What we do know about Season 4 from Netflix is after the cliffhanger of Season 3 and the new timeline dictated by Reginald. In the new timeline, the siblings no longer have powers. There will be new enemies and obstacles that want to wipe out the siblings. Will they get their powers back? We hope to find out in this final season.
Fun to note is that Sibling number 4, Klaus, has his pink umbrella in the new posters. He had the child’s pink umbrella in the first episode when the show debuted in 2019. Yes, Klaus is our favorite Brellie!
