Only Murders In The Building will return and we will see Meryl Streep return as Loretta Durkin, the love interest to Martin Short’s Oliver Putnam. Ms. Streep debuted in the series during the third season to star in Oliver’s musical Death Rattle Dazzle.

The show is about three strangers, Oliver, Mable, and Charles, who share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one. When a grisly death occurs inside their exclusive Upper West Side apartment building, the trio suspects murder and employs their precise knowledge of true crime to investigate the truth.
Selena Gomez stars as Mable Mora, Steve Martin is Charles-Haden Savage, and of course, Martin Short is Oliver Putnam. The three of them all live in a New York building and find themselves embroiled in a murder, which prompts them to start a podcast.
What we know about Season 4 is that the season will kick off on a trip to Los Angeles. They are slated to return to the Arconia, their home base in New York. Deadline reported that Molly Shannon will be joining the cast as a “high-powered LA businesswoman who finds herself drawn into the world of the investigation in NY.”
We know that after the murder at the end of the third season, we can assume that this will be the central plot and the trio’s focus. Whatever the case, we will be there for it.
