Ice Cold Hydraulics Opens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The new snack and drink stand called Ice Cold Hydraulics is now open at the entrance to the Muppets Courtyard in Hollywood Studios.
We have been watching the progress of this building going up for months now, and just 2 days ago Disney Eats officially announced some of the main menu items, and we watched the walls finally being removed. Revealing the full drink and food menu.
Candy Painted Cinnamon Rolls: Mini cinnamon rolls topped with Coca-Cola-infused glaze and toasted nuts. Bouncin’ Mini Churros: Savory churros topped with Coca-Cola and bourbon candied bacon, sriracha aïoli, and scallions. Frozen Slushies: Fanta Blue Raspberry, Minute Maid Lemonade, or Coca-Cola (Also available with Jack Daniel’s Whiskey, Bacardi Superior Rum, or Stoli Vanil Vodka), amongst the normal Mickey-shaped pretzels, water, popcorn, and Coke products.

We got a chance to try out the Bouncin’ Mini Churros, and unfortunately, we cannot say amazing things about them. While the flavors are really good together, and they taste good, the issue comes with the Churros themselves. Disneyland fans will immediately jump on the “Ours are better” and they are right.
The dish is well put together. The aioli and candied bacon are yummy, it was how hard the churros were. The whole dish tasted like it was left under a heat lamp way too long. This, along with the same complaint we have against the cinnamon rolls, they are dry.
I would guarantee if they were literally fresh out of the fryer or maybe not overcooked in an oven, and a little softer, these would have been one of my favorite snacks at Disney World.
Overall, the placement is great. The idea is great. The building is Imagineered very well, and the theming works in Hollywood Studios. It looks good in front of The Muppets Courtyard, and it is convenient.
We think it is a try, and hope your teeth do not break when chomping into a churro! If you happen to get a softer one, this could be a perfect snack. So, go, try it.
