Disney Storybook Scenes Added to Living with the Land for Epcot’s Flower & Garden 2024. Spring is in the air at Epcot! The smell of flowers, beautiful butterfly gardens, Spike the Bee, Orange Bird, and some amazing scents of food are all over the place as Epcot’s International Flower & Garden 2024 started.
Last week we speculated about a new scene that would be added to the long-running attraction at Epcot and we got part of it correct. Living with the Land ended up getting more than just a Mad Tea Party from Alice in Wonderland, it also got The Little Mermaid, Snow White, and Winnie-the-Pooh scenes added.
All the new scenes added are when you enter the garden dome areas. When you first enter the garden look to your right and you will see a treasure table with The Little Mermaid book. There are also call backs to Ariel’s tale, like a globe, candelabra with a spoon and fork, pearls and so much more.
Just past the table is a chest with King Triton’s crown and jewels.
The next scene you come up to is on the right side of the boat. A wishing well with a flock of white birds flying over it. Snow White’s book is on a table. There are various apples and a pie on the table. A small detail is there is one red apple, symbolizing the poison apple, amongst a cord of green apples.
Just up the path is a chest of gems and a lantern.
Rabbits Garden is next on the left-hand side. All the Winnie-the-Pooh characters are represented in various plant holders spread out on a picnic blanket.
Finally just as you come to the end is Alice in Wonderland, and the details are incredible. From the Mad Tea Party scene, to the playing cards flying around, to the heart under the cards. If you look really close you may spy a paint brush with red paint dripping off, and some flowers that look like they were just painted red.
