1900 Park Fare Character Dining Reopens at Disney World: Make Your Wish Come True with Reservations Today. 6:00 AM couldn’t come early enough for us today. Okay, it was approximately 6:00 AM, more like 5:54 when we logged in and got a 4:00 Opening Day April 10th dining reservation for ourselves.

To say we have been looking forward to the newly renovated dining experience is an understatement. We remember the strawberry soup! We are really looking forward to the updated character meet and greets, which Disney has said: “Each Character is known for making a wish… and making their wish come true”. Announced characters so far are Aladdin, Cinderella, Mirabel from Encanto, and Princess Tiana in her Tiana’s Bayou Adventure outfit. Although we may not see Mary Poppins, times change, and we shall see if the new 1900 Park Fare lives up to the past.

Tiana’s Famous Gumbo will be on the menu, but we do not know what else besides Eggs Benedict (Which Disney’s Grand Floridian is well known for) and a carving station.

It has been announced that Big Bertha will still be featured in 1900 Park Fare. Big Bertha is the Organ that plays periodically during your meal. Read more about Big Bertha and its history, check out this article.

3. Look for Nods to the Restaurant’s Heritage

Fans of 1900 Park Fare will remember Big Bertha, an antique organ that has called the resort home since 1988. Look for her in the main dining room, where she’s on display as its grand centerpiece!

Just like before, carousel theming is woven throughout the restaurant — starting with the impressive new mural shown above, which will serve as the focal point of the restaurant’s entrance. In one of the adjoining dining rooms, you’ll find drawings of carousel animals inspired by classic Disney films like “Alice in Wonderland” and “The Little Mermaid.” Keep an eye out for other hidden carousel details when you visit!

4. Delight in Exclusive New Artwork

The artistic touches continue throughout the main dining room, where you’ll also find twelve new portraits created exclusively for the restaurant by Disney artists. Each one, inspired by the impressionist art style of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, features a different Disney character as they hope, dream and wish upon a star (or even a magic lamp or a wishing well).
