Disney’s Easter Parade 2024 Returns to the Magic Kingdom This Weekend. Recently a Guest posted a question to the PlanDisney Panel about the Easter Parade that happens at Walt Disney World every year.
“In past years, on Easter Sunday, there was an Easter parade in Magic Kingdom, in the morning, led by Daisy Duck, dressed as an antebellum “Southern belle” and followed by many female cast members dressed alike. Will such a parade be held on Easter 2024?”
PlanDisney responded “Easter Sunday usually means a special Easter Procession featuring Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny in Magic Kingdom Park. It is usually held a bit before the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade but if you are in the Park that day you should always check the Hours & Events Calendar. It’s currently not posted now but I’m hoping it will be as the date approaches. There is a good chance it will be happening so make sure to arrive early as the Park may easily hit capacity on this day.”
We have the official answer, after just leaving the Magic Kingdom and witnessing the 2024 Easter Parade ourselves. Yes, there is an Easter Parade. It does happen about 15 minutes prior to Festival of Fantasy parade.
Who and What is part of the 2024 version of the Easter Parade at Disney? Not as much as in past years, but it still is a fun parade to be a part of.
Daisy Duck and the Antebellum outfits are no longer a part of the Parade, but that doesn’t lessen the fun! There is still the Hippos and Ostriches from Fantasia leading the parade!
Furthermore, you do get to see Mr & Mrs. Easter Bunny on a float waving at everyone. Followed by dancing Flowers and Mr. White Rabbit.

That is kind of it besides the wonderful music of Easter Parade being played along the whole parade route.
Of course, we had to follow the Easter Parade 2024 down Main Street USA, once it had passed us. I love the view of everyone lined up, sitting on the curbs, enjoying the sights and sounds of the parade.
