Events and Attractions at Walt Disney World in April 2024. Easter is over, WrestleMania season is upon us for the next week. April Fools will be abundant, along with April showers. The days light stays longer, and here at Walt Disney World that means changes to park hours and firework times. Impotently we have a ton of exciting events and happenings down here at Disney.
We will go through each one individually, but here is some of the events to look forward to in April 2024. We have Star Tours – The Adventure Continues early April along with Park Fare reopening. At the end of the month we should know about Mickey’s not-So-Scary Halloween tickets and dates, when Halfway to Halloween happens here Walt Disney World at the end of April 2024.
Earth Day is coming which means Disney’s Animal Kingdom will celebrate it’s 26th Anniversary, and of course Flower & Garden will bring in new nightly entertainment to the American garden Theater.

April 5th, 2024 – Star Tours – The Adventures Continue
Hold on tight as urgent transmissions from Ahsoka Tano, Cassian Andor, the Mandalorian and Grogu may soon be part of your next Starspeeder flight.
Starting April 5, 2024, embark on exciting new Star Wars adventures featuring characters and locations from some of your favorite Disney+ series. With these additions, you’ll have the opportunity to experience one of more than 250 storyline variations, including a visit to the planet Seatos from Ahsoka. Because the many story twists are random, you never know where you’ll go or who you may encounter along the way!
April 10th, 2024 – 1900 Park Fare
Starting with the breakfast buffet on April 10th, 2024, fans will be able to enter the reimagined character meal. New Characters, new and returning food favorites will be on the menu. Plus, Big Bertha will still be belting out music from the rafters.
We have reservations for 4:00 PM, the first dinner seating and will bring you a full review and let you know if it is worth your hard earned money. So far, the characters announced are Aladdin, Cinderella, Mirabel, and Princess Tiana.
April 22nd, 2024 – Earth Day 2024 Disney’s Animal Kingdom 26th Anniversary
Join us as we celebrate Earth Day and honor the magic of nature through family-friendly experiences and specialty offerings. Check back later for more information on the 2024 event.
That is all the website has listed for now. So we do not know what the day will bring, other than specialty snacks and treats and normally rare characters will make an appearance. We got to see Camp Goofy, Flik, Baloo and King Louie, along with Tinkerbell and her friend Fawn.
Last year was the 25th anniversary. This year in June, Disney will celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Disney’s The Lion King, so be on the lookout for tie ins.
April 30th – Halfway to Halloween
Be on the lookout for Disney Parks Blog to drop a slew of information about Halloween around the Disney Parks worldwide, along with Disney Cruise Line somewhere around the 20th. It will also have a slew of information regarding the Halfway to Halloween 2024 week. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween 2024 event dates, and tickets will be announced.
The Halfway mark will be filled with merchandise drops, ticket release info, Gideon’s Bakehouse normally has a special cookie, along with some snacks and treats available around the resorts and Parks. Furthermore, we always get those special magicshots from Disney PhotoPass during that week.
April 1st – 31st, 2024 Garden Rocks Concert Series
The Epcot Flower & Garden Festival continues all April long. We have reviewed, and brought you all the information from this years festival previously. No need to go crazy, you know about the amazing Topiaries, Food, Merch, and so much more. But, for April we have new concerts to continue to rock out too.
