What To Watch Today on The Hallmark Channel. Today is May 30, 2024, and in addition to our regular sitcoms, there is a string of heartwarming romcoms. We have some sporty movies and some destination movies. Something for everyone.
A double dose, if you will, of Alexa PenaVega movies, one of which she stars with her real husband Carlos PenaVega. Sad to see that they seem to have left Hallmark because they are gold together on screen. But can we talk about one of my personal favorite movies? Easter Under Wraps is just beautiful. The story is great, the cast is stellar, and it’s just cheery and pretty. The best of spring. I feel this is a gem of a movie.
11/10C – Destination Wedding – Ellie Hemway has been painstakingly planning her sister’s destination wedding for the longest time. As guests arrive on a beach paradise, she runs into her ex-boyfriend, Greg, who also happens to be the best man.
1/12C – Easter Under Wraps – Erin Cavendish goes undercover at her family’s chocolate plant to see why sales are down when she meets head chocolatier, Bryan, who has new ideas on how to update the Easter product line. Stars Fiona Gubelmann, Brendan Penny.
3/2C – Never Too Late To Celebrate – Career-focused dentist Camila is reluctant to celebrate her 30th birthday but inspired by Javi, a Spanish teacher, the two plan a quinceañera-themed party to honor her Hispanic heritage. Stars Alexa PenaVega, Carlos PenaVega.
5/4C – The Presence of Love – Adjunct professor Joss travels to England to visit the farm where her late mother grew up and bonds with single-father, Daniel, whose family now runs it. Stars Eloise Mumford, Julian Morris.
7/6C – The Perfect Catch – When her high school boyfriend, a superstar baseball player, returns to town, a single-parent finds the inspiration to reinvent her struggling diner… and revisits the past to find something even better for the future.
